Release your inner 007
If you’ve ever coveted a 007 gadget, wished you had one of Q’s inventions or lusted over M’s office, then you’ll love our remarkable new showroom. Our High Wycombe based showroom sees the best of British hand made furniture from Conquest alongside cutting edge AV technologies from Paramount AV Rooms, specialists in reference level audio visual equipment, home cinemas and home automation.
Jonathan Adey, General Manager of Conquest explains how the showroom came about. 'One of our designers had been impressed by Paramount AV Rooms' expertise and technology, when they encountered them at a customer's home. Quite a few of our customers had asked us if we knew of specialists who could supply and fit this sort of technology and until we met with Paramount AV Rooms, we didn't feel able to recommend one.
As our work together grew we decided that we'd like to have a real presence in their showroom'. Terry Butt, Managing Director of Paramount AV Rooms said that the development made perfect sense. 'I've worked in the premium audio and home cinema industry for over 20 years and in recent years we've become more involved in home refurbishments and new build projects where people are looking to incorporate the technological needs of their home into it's core fabric and systems. This has reinforced to us the importance of how technologies for music, television and film are distributed and displayed around the home. This can either enhance or diminish the technology - depending on the approach. When we saw our audio systems and screens fitted into Conquest's hand made bespoke furniture we were really impressed and knew that we just had to bring these two systems together in a joint showroom.'
The showroom is perfect for the music lover who wants to consider and compare the best of what is available in sound and home cinema technology. It's also ideal for those that may have questions about how to mix and match technology and what would work best in their home. Many of the furniture displays incorporate hidden technologies that are revealed at the press of a button, such that would delight any Bond fan.
Maybe that's why in the showroom you’ll sometimes here cries of 'again, again, make it do it again'.
